Why am I asked to complete onboarding?

TourEstateAI asks new organizations to finish setup so templates and defaults match your industry and team.
Why is onboarding required?
When your account onboarding status is DRAFT or FAILED, requiresOnboarding is true and OnboardingGuard sends you to /onboarding before other app pages (except auth and public routes).
When onboarding runs
Sign in >>> OnboardingGuard >>> /onboarding
Prerequisites: Signed-in user with an organization account in DRAFT or FAILED onboarding status.
Step 1. Sign in or sign up
New email and Google accounts start with onboarding status DRAFT.
Step 2. Try to open the app
Navigate to dashboard, projects, or other signed-in routes.
Step 3. Get redirected
OnboardingGuard sends you to /onboarding?returnUrl=... with the page you tried to open.
Finish the Finish setup survey to continue.
Key points to consider
Auth routes (/signin, /signup, /reset-password, /new-password) are excluded from the guard.
