Does my country setting affect pricing currency?

Your profile Country / region affects display currency when you do not have an active subscription.

Country and pricing currency

mapCountryToCurrency(preferredCountry) drives pricing for unsubscribed users. Active subscribers use their subscription price book currency regardless of profile country.

How country affects currency

Settings >>> Profile >>> Country / region

Prerequisites: Signed-in account.

Step 1. No active subscription

  • Profile Country / region maps to display currency (e.g. UK → GBP, eurozone → EUR, default USD).

  • Change country on Profile or navbar, then save.

  • Check /pricing or checkout to see updated currency hints.

Step 2. Active subscription

  • Currency stays locked to your subscription price book.

  • Changing profile country does not change your billed currency mid-cycle.

Key points to consider

  • Organization business address country does not affect pricing.
