My payment failed — what happens to my subscription?

A failed renewal payment may set your subscription to PAST_DUE until you update payment.

Failed payment impact

invoice.payment_failed webhook updates status. Grace period default 7 days on Plan entity — VERIFY IN APP enforcement. Coin pack purchases blocked when PAST_DUE.

What to do

Billing >>> payment method >>> retry

Prerequisites: Failed renewal charge.

Step 1. Check status

  • Plans tab may show Past Due.

  • Billing History shows Requires Payment Method or Requires Action.

Step 2. Fix payment

  • Update card via new successful payment flow — VERIFY IN APP add-card UI.

  • Contact Support if stuck.
